Urinary Tract Infections

Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs) affect all segments of the population but particularly plague adult women.  Most urinary tract infections are simple bladder infections and are usually easily treated.  However, serious urinary infections involving the kidneys can be life-threatening and even simple cystitis can cause a major loss of quality of life.  The causes, treatment, and prevention of infection vary depending on the age, sex, and medical condition of the particular patient.

Do you suffer from UTIs?  Do you understand your particular risk factors and what should be done to prevent recurrence?  Do you have a strategy to manage infections when they occur to minimize any discomfort or disability?  If not, we can help.
